After maturity, the leaf petiole on the branch is stout, the base is slightly enlarged, the upper joint is slightly thick, and the leaf sheath is long. Leaf blade thinly leathery, emerald green, usually with mostly irregular patches of pure yellow, unequal ovate or ovate oblong, apex short acuminate, base deeply cordate, slightly coarser, slightly raised on both sides.
